Free Blackberry Curve 8330 Review
My current contract with my cell phone provided is almost up. And i’ve been contemplating on which smart phone I want. I currently have the LG Dare phone which i’ve had for almost 2 years now.
But if i’m like a lot of people out there, then you can understand what I mean when I say that “i’m getting pretty bored with the phone” and I think it’s time to get something new.
So i’ve narrowed it down between two Smart phones with 2 carriers. One is the Blackberry Curve from Verizon Wireless and the other is another Blackberry Curve 8330 from Sprint.
If you’re in the market for a new “Blackberry Curve 8330″, here’s a review from my experience using the phone.
And if you’re looking to get a FREE Blackberry Curve 8330, there are companies that do offer the Smart phones for free. And the only networks that use the Blackberry Curve 8330 are Sprint and Verizon Wireless. You might also want to check with the authorized carrier independent cell phone dealers. They often have FREE phone promotions.
I think that the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 is a strong improvement over the Verizon Wireless version of the same phone. Sprint has added extra applications compared to the Verizon Blackberry Curve.
On Sprint’s Blackberry Curve, there was plenty of instant messaging options, including GTalk, as well as the Facebook app for BlackBerry.
The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 has excellent battery life and improved scheduling capabilities. In my opinion, this is probably the best BlackBerry on the market, as well as the best smart phone offered by Sprint.
Call quality on the Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330 was about the same as the Verizon Wireless version. It gets all of the great calling features, including a nice speakerphone, bluetooth for handsfree calling, conference calling and voice dialing.
The Sprint BlackBerry Curve has an excellent battery life of eight hours of talk time. And it also got consistently better reception.
In messaging, Sprint offers lots of useful software, with some great instant messaging from AOL, Yahoo and Google.
The Sprint Blackberry Curve has a Facebook application so users can keep in touch with their online friends and update their profiles from the phone.
The calendar on the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 is improved over the original Curve. It looks nicer than before and with the nice color highlights that make it easier to read.
The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 includes an updated media menu, and an over-the-air music store.
The price to download a track is $0.99, and for every track you buy you also get to download a file to your PC.
The 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo Bluetooth support is great for music listening. Sprint has also included a 1GB microSD memory card.
The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 uses the carrier’s own Sprint Navigator for driving directions, and I think the TeleNav-based application is better than the VZ Navigator.

I have the unlimited plan and I use it to email all the time, but I can’t figure out how to open email attachments.
For Office attachments you’ll need DocsToGo. For Adobe attachments you’ll need BeamReader. DocsToGo comes from OS 4.5 and above. Google OS 4.5.0.93 mediafire or OS 4.5.0.102 mediafire and you’ll find it. MAKE SURE you pick your appropriate phone model. Curves are 8310, 8320, 8330. Installation link below.
Install BeamReader after you upgrade OS. Link provided.

blackberry curve for sprint in black?
ive been waiting forever and ever for the blackberry curve for sprint to come out and i got super excited when i saw it on the website but then when i clicked on it and saw that the only color was in silver i got a bit disappointed cause the only reason why i really wanted this phone because it was somehting different then the other curves that it was black. does anyone know if its still coming out in black or when it will come out?
I have never seen a Black, Blackberry Curve.

Blackberry Bold 9650 – New Addition in Bold Series Phones
RIM (Research in Motion) in Wireless Enterprise Symposium (WES), 2010 announced another best class CDMA version of Blackberry Bold having the model number 9650. This new Bold series mobile phone has lots of promising features and improved version of applications. The phone is also known as Blackberry Essex and Tour 2 around the world.
According to the President of RIM (Mike Lazaridis), “The new Blackberry Bold 9650 is one of the best additions in our Bold series mobile phones and we think users will love it. Either you are at work or play, this new Blackberry mobile offers a remarkable communication, multimedia and brilliant connectivity experience to its end user.”
Most of the features of new Bold 9650 mobile are common with Bold 9700, which is already available on popular networks of UK. The phone is incorporated with several other latest technologies which make it more popular over the mobile market. Blackberry Bold 9650 is equipped with CDMA and GSM technology which gives you better coverage and internet usage on it. 512 MB of RAM ensures better speed and functionality of this mobile phone.
This Blackberry mobile phone is well equipped with latest version of Wi-Fi technology that enables its user to access their email clients and other internet applications from wireless networks available at home or anywhere wireless signals are available. Will the Sprint Blackberry Curve (83330) work on the Verizon network?
Im thinking about getting a new phone but that blackberry only come in the color i want on the sprint network….
No, it will not. A Sprint device won’t work on the Verizon network. You will need to get the Curve 8330 from Verizon.
