There are many different details that come with the Okidata C9800 printer. It’s a business model printer that produces many documents in a variety of sizes and weights for better print distribution. It creates accurate and color rich digital color prints by using EFI Fiery technology and the exceptional Okidata C9800 toner. EFI Fiery manages print jobs and your workflow for better job functionality. The printer will adjust settings according to specified media by using Audio Media Detect.
The printer delivers extremely sharp color prints at very high speeds. Color prints at 36 ppm and monotone prints at 40 ppm. The printer employs the Single Pass Color system to ensure fast printing speeds, less paper jams, and media prints of up to 100 pounds. Banner sizes are available up to 12.9″ wide and A3 is also available. To meet printing needs the C9800 prints a variety of paper weights and sizes.
Specs include 1 GB of ram, a 1 GHz processor, 20 GB of hard disk standard, and ProQ4800 technology. The ProQ4800 technology produces rich and vibrant prints with a resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi. Direct PDF printing is provided in order to print PDF files without using any general reader software. The printer can produce 150,000 pages a month.
Color management software, called EFI Pro Tools, is also provided. It produces accurate color representation from differing file formats and applications. Storage device manager stores logos and fonts, as well as forms and letterheads. The maximum capacity is up to 2,880 sheets. This is distributed between the second tray, main printer, feeder, and the multi purpose tray.
If punching and stapling is needed, an optional finisher is included. The finisher folds and stacks up to a thousand sheets. Also optional is a 530 sheet secondary paper tray, and a high capacity feeder, also optional. The EFI Command WorkStation 4 can identify network printers and display them in order to manage the workflow and increase productivity. Another feature is the Signage Media Collection, which prints SynFlex paper and different card stocks like premium.
The C9800 is compatible with Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows 98 and also Citrix, among others. It comes equipped with an Ethernet card and internal web server in order to manage print setup and network cards. With the Ethernet card it makes job submissions easier because the user can mail clients through different Mail based applications.
Different typefaces are available, including ten TruType fonts, 136 Adobe fonts, 86 PCL fonts, and a bitmap font. Toners needed will be cyan, yellow, black and magenta. Supported card stocks are premium up to 110 lb., with white proofing sheets, premium color transparency film, and envelope capability. The printer also tracks color printing costs.
Color prints are available in 10.5 seconds so there’s less time to wait for documents. Mono prints in nine. For easy and user friendly menus, the LCD panel monitors print status and administrators can access the printing data for total functionality by distributing it. Color printing speed is fast and easy and can also be monitored through the LCD panel.
The Okidata C9800 printer covers all printing needs with color rich and sharp documents. It is user friendly and fast. Also, the cost of one page in black and white is low so the printer can be used for all different business needs. Workgroup environments that need a fast accurate business model printer will do well with the C9800. Affordability and accuracy is emphasized with the printer as well.
Will minor damage to my playstation 2 disc tray stop a slide card (Swap Magic) from working?
My playstation 2′s disc tray has it’s front removed. this is the part where the logo would usually be, but it’s been taken off. not the logo, but the whole front. i can still play disc and stuff, but will this stop a slide card from working with my playstation 2?
When I used swap magic I took mine off intentionally because it was easier to get the slide card in so it should be just fine.
