Motorola originally announced the manufacture of a new PDA offering a Qwerty keyboard and the thinnest dimensions available on the market around 12 months ago, the model was to be named the Motorola Q.
The handset was dubbed the ‘Blackberry Killer’ and the ‘RAZRBerry’ for its keypad that roughly resembled that of the trademark Blackberry phones and because of its ‘razor like’ measurements, and PDA enthusiasts were all adding the new handset to their wish lists ready for when the phone was released, there were even rumours that some overseas companies were taking pre-orders for the phone for the extra publicity it generated.
However, the manufacturer has stumped them all and released a new version of the phone called the Motorola Q 9h.
This new handset runs on Windows Mobile 6.0, the latest version of the software and is robust and sleek in design whilst packing power and functionality.
The handset will appeal across a broad spectrum from busy professionals through to gadget lovers and even the fashion conscious for its cool design and thin dimensions.
The Q 9h offers HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) technology allowing for fast download speeds of up to 3.6MB per second which makes for quick instant messaging, email access and downloading of new files, applications, ringtones, games and other mobile content.
The device is equipped with a fully optimised Qwerty keyboard for quick and easy text input for emails, text messages and presentations and notes which can all be viewed on the very large 320 x 240 pixel display.
There is also a 2.0 megapixel camera with flash, digital zoom and vide record and playback support via a media player which also facilitates streaming video clips such as news and sports headlines via 3G.
Being a 3G enabled handset opens up a whole world of media download possibilities including new movie trailers and the latest music tracks and albums but more importantly the Motorola Q 9h also features a secondary VGA camera on the front of the phone for video calling where the user can actually see the person they are conversing with in real time.
Wireless connections are possible thank to Bluetooth technology allowing for easy file sharing with compatible mobile phone and other devices such as TVs and laptops whilst the handset can also use bluetooth to connect to a hands free car kit for safe conversations whilst driving. There is even a stereo headset that uses the handsets stereo bluetooth to transfer music and speech wirelessly to the users ear.
With all of this technology the manufacturer has included a MicroSD card slot for extra memory of up to 2GB for storing all of those music, games, downloads and video files plus with a USB 2.0 the handset can be connected to a PC and data can be downloaded and backed up quickly and easily.
The new Motorola Q 9h may not be exactly what the masses were expecting but it certainly does not disappoint when it comes to features and technology. A marked improvement on the original Q-Series and a phone that will sit comfortably in a suit pocket.
How can I unlock a motorola razr v3 to wrok w/ another network??
I wanna find an unlock code for a motorola razr v3 to use it w/ another network for my son. Is there somewhere to find this w/out paying out ass??

OK – I am a V3i Owner in australia and the devices are similar.
1st ly I need to know what network your on, T-Mobile, Optus, Eurotel, Vodafone, SwisseTelecom etc.
Unlock codes cost money, this is a free way to unlock it.
From here there is 2 options,
===OPTION=1 ===========================
1 – You can connect it to your PC and download and install Motorola software updater, Your not going to update it but re-install the software the phone uses. This will remove the network lock becase essentially it will be a new phone.

MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FULY CHARGED
Plug the phone in
Run Motorola Software update
It should recognize it
Click start update.
It should ask you if you want to store personal info (Messages Pictures contacts etc.) Click yes if you want to keep that, otherwise click no, this will make the update faster.
An Image of your phone will appear in the top left corner of the window.
After finished backing up personal info, it will check for updates. There isnt any for V3. It should ask you to restore it to factory settings (Unlocked!)
Let it download the software and update it.
Make sure the flip is open.
It will turn off then it will look a little different from usual, It will have white text on a black background, DO NOT PUSH ANY BUTTONS!!
Let it instal and do not disconnect it from the PC. It may also make some odd noises, this is normal.
Once it’s completed it will restore your data and restart a few times. After this it may act up a little but this goes away within a day or two.

Download RSD_Lite (This is used by moto to confugre phones) and fiddle with the options to disable it.
Or you could just buy another razr off ebay. There about $30.
OR! Even better get a Virgin Mobile phone new- these have the best deals and cost as little as $15!

motorola razr v3 pearl gray?
I have a couple questions about the motorola razr v3 in the pearl gray color. I just bought one off ebay, unlocked for at&t and also tmobile. I was wondering if that meant that it would be layed out the same way as a regular at&t razr since I am pretty sure it was made for verizone.
Also, are the features different on this razr opposed to a regular one such as black or silver?

Hi, I have a cell phone business. I carry all Motorola phones. I have used and tested hundreds of GSM RAZR’s….every color, and model.
They V3 in pearl gray is very pretty. It was available for T-Mobile company only. However, if the unit that you just bought from eBay is unlocked, that means that it is a handset that can be used with more than one service provider, making it easy for a user to switch from one cellular network to another. This is a term for GSM phones only such as, T-Mobile, Cingular/AT&T, Fido, Orange, etc. (Does NOT apply or work on opposite TDMA technologies which include, Verizon, Sprint, etc.)
So anyway, the different colored RAZRs do not change the hardware or software of the unit. They Moto Razr’s menu and layout is virtually the same. T-mobiles layout versus Cingular/AT&T each have a few different ring-tones and wallpapers. Therefore, if you got a T-mobile branded phone unlocked. It will have like the T-mobile ring-tone and T branded wallpaper…but you can change the settings to whatever suits you best. So, the menu is the same if you’ve had a razr from Cingular. You just need to customize your new phone to fit you best.
As far as features go, the V3 model is the most basic…it only has a 1 mp camera…limited memory. But now there is the V3i with itunes, higher mp camera, and memory expansion, also there is the V3x, V3xx…etc.
The V3 is still a great model with decent features and is well made. Hope this info. helped, and enjoy your phone!

After the survey work is over the work of drilling is to be started. Drilling is done by machines called Riggs. Grey Motorola
The Nokia 6310i mobile phone has been out for several years now and yet it is still selling very well. What exactly is so good about it?
Those of you who have used this phone will know for sure that it’s a good solid phone and was there when Bluetooth first came out. No, it hasn’t got a colour screen or super duper ringtones but the fact remains that it is still selling really well. Let’s take a quick look at this device.
Featuring Tri-band capability, the Nokia 6310i is an excellent mobile handset sold by Nokia, the Finnish mobile handset manufacturer. It is one of the most sought after, discontinued phones on the market.
This a candy bar styled handset which is available in three cover colours with two window colours: jet black with golden window, mistral beige with grey window and lightning silver with grey window.
The Nokia 6310i is not equipped with a camera or a video recording function though it is capable of surfing the internet with the built in browser of the phone. On top of sending messages it is equipped with intelligent t9 texting which allows you to easily type text messages without pressing each key up to four times for the correct letter. This of course, today is common place.
Another attractive feature in the Nokia 6310i is the wallet application, which enables users to make convenient and reliable on-line transactions via the phone’s WAP browser. And of course, it is equipped with Bluetooth technology and WAP functionality including the HSCSD that ensures seamless data transfer.
This phone is truly fantastic and the battery life is outstanding. I personally don’t know of a phone with more battery power than this one. All in all, the Nokia 6310i is a great, user friendly, competent phone whilst also being a true world class performer that keeps you connected when you are on the move even globally.
It is probably the robust nature and huge battery life which still attracts many people to this phone even today. And I for one, don’t know of any other mobile phone which can still pull the crowds in after several years on the market.
Putting pictures on my computer from my phone?
I have a gray Motorola RAZR with video and camera capabilities, and wireless digital bluetooth. I also have a gateway laptop. I want to use my wireless bluetooth to put pictures on my computer, since I don’t have a separate digital camera. How can I do this?
Go to your photo album, and push the little button in the top middle of your phone, that has 3 lines. If you don’t have that button, press the options button.
Then, “Send in Message”, “Send to”, “New email address”, then put your e-mail address.
Check your e-mail, and right click the picture. Then, “Save as”.
That’s how I do it on my phone.
