Leather Case Motorola

Cell phones can be quite an investment these days. im thinking of gtting the iphone 3g, though, i dunnodo u guys think its worth the extra eatures to spedn 50-100 dollars more for the 3gs? 3g is 16gb

and does the plastic back scrtach easily? if so would u reocmend invisible shield or a clear case or the griffin elan form case leather?

also, black or whit?

im not gonnna be a heavy user, just want a nice phone to replace my motorola razr and ipod touch 1gen.
