The Asus Multimedia Laptop and the Philips Cineos LCD TV
This year, laptops and LCD TVs have been very popular purchases with customers and with so many to choose from it can be difficult to make the distinction between them all. Here are two of the most impressive gadgets around that may help entice you into making a decision about what you would like to own more. The first of the two electrical gadgets up for discussion is the Asus M70. This laptop in the Asus range has been described as an ultimate multimedia laptop and it’s easy to see why when you look at its specs. It has an incredible, and almost unheard of, one terabyte of storage (TB), and to really show why it’s an ultimate multimedia device, it has a built-in Blu-ray drive that can be used for watching high definition films when you are on the go. These specs really do make this machine stand out from other laptops that are on the market at the moment and on top of those already mentioned the laptop also has an Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 processor, a 17-inch light-sensitive high definition (1920 x 1280) screen, built-in Altec lancing speakers and subwoofer for a more powerful and defined sound and an ATI HD3650 graphics card with 1GB VRAM and also 4GB of DDR2 memory. These impressive features mean that this laptop is essentially unrivalled in its capabilities and it also uses innovative technology in its mouse pad which doubles as a control panel which assists finger tip system control when using the laptop. An LCD TV that seems to tick all the boxes and is also very impressive to look at, with its smooth edges and glossy appearance, is the Philips Cineos, well the Philips Cineos 42PFL9703 to be precise. This TV is another one of Philips’ sets that uses the Ambilight technology. The idea of lighting the wall behind the TV is not to everyone’s taste but for many it is a very popular asset. However, this TV has a different form of the Ambilight, rather than forward-facing lights, it has a third light strip that is situated at the top of the unit. This promises to immerse you even further into the film that you are watching. However, this 42-inch TV has far more to offer its owner than this alone. The Philips Cineos also produces a really crisp sound. The speakers are designed to give out a high frequency sound without any obstruction, making your viewing experience even better.

Nothing displays on the LCD panel of my Canon film camera?
I have a Canon EOS1000F. It was running alright and the last time I used it there was still battery. I didn’t use it for a couple of months and when I tried to turn it on again recently, nothing would display on the LCD panel. Not even the brackets that show that the battery is empty. I tried to take the battery out and put it back again but it’s still completely blank. Is it just a battery problem or is the camera broken altogether?
Even the brackets that show that the battery is empty require a little power.
They’re the last thing to go when the power is completely drained.
You need a new pair of 2CR5s.

sony=quality and ps3 is for hardcore graphics and if u r having a bravia go for it.
no problem will be there bt may be some manufacturer fault………
i prefer u go for xbox 360,in INDIA xbox is concentrationg more than sony and many titles and accesories are available for it

There is a huge range of accessories you could choose from, some that cost very little and some that could cost a packet. Here is a little advice on five gadgets that can boost your game performance on the course, and some tips on how they are used.
1. Club Head Covering
A handy accessory to look at is buying protective gear for your club heads. These are available in a variety of styles and designs to go with the rest of your kit. They help keep the vital parts of you clubs, the heads in perfect condition as you protect them from destructive elements. A perfect head provides more chances of a perfect hit, as long as your technique is ok.
2. How about a good pair of gloves?
Golfing gear needn’t necessarily be about stylish feel alone. Playing the game can be rough on the wrists and the skin on the hands, so why not invest in a good set of gloves to help you hold the club better? They serve duel purposes as they make a style statement, and help you improve grip at the same time. Go for leather, as it lasts longer than any other material.
3. A golfing umbrella
A golf umbrella lets you continue play even when it rains. You could use it to protect you while you wait for another player to complete his or her shot. It also protects you from the sun on extremely hot days. So it can help you in any climatic condition that can get a little extreme, while it serves as a fashionable accessory at the same time. 4. Club cleaners
No other part of your golf kit is as important as your club, so you need to take the best care of them. Get a club cleaner to keep grime and dirt off your clubs. It is a great past time to clean out your clubs with the cleaning fluid, and a shiny club head will give you a feeling of pride and accomplishment as well.
5. Ever heard of range finders?
They are normally used by photographers. But if you do not have a caddie to help you, you could use a range finder to accurately get an idea of how far a hole is. Once you get this data, you will be in the perfect position to select the right club to make a winning shot.

Chocolate VCast or iPod?
I already have a Chocolate phone, although I have yet to get any of the accessories to upload music from CDs.
My question is…is getting an actual iPod worth it, or would I be better off getting the VCast Music Essentials kit for my phone?
IMPORTANT: What I DON’T want to hear is “Ditch Verizon! They’re horrible!” and some suggestions as to a different type of phone model instead. I already have the Chocolate phone, I’m happy with it, and my question is solely if getting an iPod is worth the hassle if I can use the same things on my Chocolate.
Sorry if I sound snippy, but in the two questions I have asked about Verizon and Chocolate, and I’ve gotten someone saying “Ditch Verizon pronto!” or “Get the Silvr! Its awesome!”
If you have the money, then getting an iPod is totally worth it, not a hassle by any means. It’s convenient, fun, stylish, and it really does hold alot more music than the Micro Sd card in your phone would. But, of course, you can always buy more cards and switch them out. 1G cards run about $30 new, but you can find them used on Ebay for less than $5!! They store about 200 or so songs. A 2G card, can be found, used, for less than $20. And it stores almost 500. The VCast kit is only like, what, $15? That’s a big save compared to the $200 iPod Nano.
You can even use the FM transmitter in your phone to listen to your music in stereo sound…

Ha ha, and I totally understand being snippy I get negative comments all the time about my choice of phone and service. I actually went with Sprint ( I know, I know) and I got a Fusic, which is also by LG, and I am quite satisfied. It does basically everything I need it to do as far as music playing is concerned and it’s a fantastic phone as well. The Chocolate was my first choice, but they don’t offer Verizon where I live.
Sprint is nice, though. I love love love! the mobile broadband. It’s a bit expensive, like $60 a month, but because I live in such a small town, my only other option for decent internet service would have been the even more expensive sattelite connection or dial up AOL. Ew. Ha ha. Anyway. Sprint’s good. I’m almost always happy with it. But on the rare occasion that I’m not, just seeing the cutie who works there makes it all better

Special Event Videography – Top Tips for Filming Toddlers and Other Fierce Creatures
You have the perfect ending shot in your minds eye for the end of your special event family film. You are holding your camera at knee height and have Bobby the Toddler in your view finder. Two foot of obstinate intimidation. All you want him to do is run away from you to the tree and glance gleefully behind him as you chase him filming a toddler POV (point of view.) It will make a poignant and lovely ending to the film. Bobby, however, is standing with one hand on his hip and the other jammed up his nose to the second knuckle and is refusing to cooperate. “You have a big head” he notes as a matter of fact. Right, it’s getting personal. “Come on Bobby, show me if you can run to the tree.” You are starting to plead and that may be eroding your power base. Bobby notes the change in tactic and alters his psychological toddlercology accordingly. “I have a willy”. His eyes narrow, searching for the shock reaction that usually follows. Before this can predictably move on to the ‘what have you got’ conversation I review the golden rules for dealing with toddlers.
Engage the Toddler
Children are very quick to make friends, if you find the right common ground. From their perspective you are a stranger who has come into mummy and daddy’s home with a rather large camera and you are making all these demands, none of which make any sense. You are treating them as you would any film subject and attempting stage direction but this will not work. Start by introducing yourself. They are little people and fully aware of social niceties. Let them know what you are there to accomplish. Show them the camera, give them a quick tour of the more obvious features. Your flip out LCD display panel is about to become your best friend. Toddlers love nothing more than to see themselves. You will get great footage this way and also alleviate any fear factors as your camera has now become a large toy. Be sensitive that you are dealing with teeny tiny people who have all the standard emotions, fears and concerns, unfortunately without a filtering mechanism, control or the power of reason.
Personalise the Camera
I have in the past attempted to over personalise my camera. I gave it antenna and ping pong ball eyes. This was a sure fire hit with the kiddies but it caused external noise on the film and made me look quite daft. You don’t need to go this far. Give your camera a name, tell a little story about the films ‘Eric’ likes to take and some of the places he has been to shoot those films. If however you are dealing with a savvy Generation Z toddler, who has brutally honest parents, tell them that this is the Sony Z1 and ask his views on progressive filming versus interlaced.
Camera Games
Hide the Object If you want a toddler to go in a certain direction, give them a reason. Hide a toy and tell them to find it. Do it a couple of times before using the camera. Do not hide their favourite blue blanket that even mummy cannot touch or you will find your public liability getting a hammering for psychological damage.
Hide and Seek Get mum or dad to start this one off and then join in. If this is not a favorite get mum or dad to play the game that typifies fun for the family and film it as a participant. Wear flat shoes and use the smaller lighter battery.
Show me a Face Turn around the LCD panel and play ‘make that face’, these bits of film are adorable and make good transition shots between scenes.
You Scratch My Back..
Realistically, you will be shooting a large amount of film, and the balance of probabilities that you will get some useable footage. If however, the toddler is not going to cooperate on any level, bribery is your last resort. I sometimes ask parents of self proclaimed high need children, that if they wish they can consider an ‘encouragement’ gift. Prior to the shoot, they have the option of purchasing a toy that can be offered in exchange for helping mummy and daddy with the film. This is a one off and not going to cause Dr Spock to spin in his grave, or Dr Phil to frown and ask ‘What were you thinking??” If the toy is not required then it will make a nice gift for a job well done. Do not, repeat do not, attempt bribery without parental consent, toddlers should not eat confectionary and may have allergies you are not aware of. And if you offer an unsanctioned gift you will infuriate and alienate parents and possibly lose a client. At the end of the day, mum and dad know their toddler better than you and their guidance will be more valuable than sugar and bribery.
In the case of non-compliant Bobby and upon reflection of the golden rules I considered the odds of me winning this battle and with discretion being the better part of valor I conceded defeat to my better opponent and left it all in mum’s capable hands.

Samsung A737 Red Keypad Backlight Color?
I’m interested in buying the red version of the Samsung SGH-A737 with AT&T, and from what I’ve seen looking into it I think it’s a good phone, however I have heard the backlight for the keypad on the red A737 is pink instead of red…If anybody that owns the red Samsung A737 could clarify this I would appreciate it.
I have the phone. The backlight is a reddish-pink. I love the phone. I just got it a couple of days ago. The calls are clear, speaker phone great, nice features. Still learning to play with it, but so far no regrets.
