Last year Chinese cell phone manufacturer CECT became well known for its iPhone clone called the P168. Encouraged by this success, the company quickly rolled out additions to its line up. In my opinion, many of the newer models look nothing like the iPhone and function in an entirely different way. A perfect example of this is the new CECT T68 (AKA the HiTune) which seems to be inspired by Blackberry or HTC models. I have often been asked when the clone manufacturers were going to tackle the windows based productivity smartphones. That time seems to be now.
The most popular feature of the T68 is windows mobile 5.0. This means that you can run many popular productivity programs like Word, MSN, Excel, Outlook Express and PowerPoint. You can easily sync information with your desktop computer or notebook via ActiveSync. This ease of use makes this model extremely popular with students and executives who want to send, receive, or edit documents away from the classroom or office. (Although I can say from personal experience that the gaming features sometimes make it easy to become distracted.)
This HiTune’s large, full keyboard makes this phone well received among texters as well. Whether you call this model a pocket PC, a PDA, or a smart phone, it has tons of standard features, including a built in 2.0 mega pixel digital camera and web cam, WiFi, Bluetooth, MP3, Java 2.0, and the ability to download and play Nintendo and Windows PPC games. It also has GPS navigation and en e-book reader. I particularly enjoy downloading e-books to read later while I have down time. I am now actually able to read a huge backlog that was stored on my computer before.
This phone is unlocked and tri band. It will work with most GSM carriers. No software or drivers are needed. You just insert your sim card and the 68 can read and install any information needed.
This clone is modern, sleek and streamlined. I think it looks like a cross between the Blackberry Curve and Pearl models.
Currently, the price is about $175, but this will probably come down over time as more become available. I predict it will sell well because it should appeal to a wide range of consumers.
Confused with K850i?
Hi,
I am ok to shed 20-25k for good, fast, smart phone. I did waited long for K850i being good camera phone, but reading reviews it seems its not extra ordinary compare to Nokia. So is it meaning to shed so much for it ?? where you can also get decent PDA’s too in market with features of WiFi as particular in that much range.

I never found anyone placing this model out standing. It has same old features of SE800 & SE810 except for 5Mg camera.
Dont know why but I am still not convinced. Although I am not fan of either SE or Nokia or any XYZ brand.
I just appreciate technology that they integrate.
Pls any comments / suggestion / opinions ?

Can i have my ipod shuffle travel charger used for my ipod 4th gen nano?
i cant always bring a laptop and a travel charger using the same plug with shuffles earphones is quite convenient to me.
The iPod Nano 4th generation requires a different charger built specifically for the iPod Nano 4th gen itself, iphone 3G or iPod Touch 2nd Generation. I know its kinda weird but Apple changed the pin settings in the port. You can try hooking it up to your charger but you will get a little warning on your ipod screen. Best bet to buy another charger. They are cheap online. This one will definitely work for your iPod Nano 4th Gen.

What is the default voicemail password for the Samsung Instinct (Sprint)?
What is the default voicemail password for the Samsung Instinct (Sprint)? I never set up my password using the phone, and can’t set one up from the Sprint website. I need to access my voicemail from a landline or other phone… (my battery is dead and I don’t have the charger). Does anyone know what the default is so I can access my voicemail? (It isn’t the last 4 digits of my phone number or social security).
Call Sprint from a land line phone and they can tell you what the default pass code is or they can even reset it for you over the phone.

this does exacrtly what it’s supposed to do, the solar charger is for charging up the pen and the video streams wireless to the receiver which could be in your pocket or bag. Even in a next door room as long as you are in the signal range. Best use for spying would be to leave it lying on a table, if you pick it up and use it as a pen it might seem a bit suspicius

Although battery life (talk time and standby time) of dual SIM cards phones is reduced, typically by about a third, when both SIMs are active, to compensate this they often came with better capacity batteries compared to single-SIM phones.

Could a Cell Phone running off of a CDMA network set off a car alarm?
I was thinking there was something faulty with the alarm but than i realized I left my spare phone in the center console. I was thinking that some type of interference may have been going on. Is this possible? My system is an older rolling code viper alarm.
The CDMA uses a different type of system, works off of radio frequencies from what I hear.
