Why won’t my IMac work?
My husband and I were watching a movie on our IMac when it made a loud pop and powered off. We thought the electricity went out and back on but that wasn’t the case. He tried pressing the power button and nothing happened. We tried a different outlet and again it made a popping noise but this time the noise was followed by a burning smell. Please help us. We live 3 hours from an apple store and their customer support won’t give us any info over the phone. The IMac was purchased in 2006. 24 inch lcd screen. 2.16 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. 250GB Serial ATA hard drive. Thank you.
It sounds like the power supply inside the computer has burned out. In other words, when you plug the power cord into the Mac, it’s actually plugging into a power adapter thingy in there, and it sounds like that has burned out, which happens sometimes.
You’ll have to bring it to the Apple store for repair, sorry.

but i believe that you can move it on some phones.
i dont know much about your phone so i cant help you there.
but on my phone i can either center it or make it left aligned.

What is a solar power phone charger?
As the name suggests, a solar power phone charger is a device that can charge your phone batteries by converting the power of the sun into electricity. Think of it as your own little solar panel channelling solar energy into your mobile phone.
The sad fact of modern cell phones it that while they have advanced by leaps and bounds in the features they offer, their batteries are hardly up to the mark in powering them. Modern cell phones function much more than just communication devices. They act as MP3 players, cameras, video playback devices, web browsers and mini-computers. A solar charger, thus, is an excellent, portable solution to cell phone power woes. It can be easily carried in the pocket and set up within minutes. Most of them cost around $100, though you can find cheaper models too. You can also use a solar power cell phone charger as a secondary battery.
Perhaps the best part about solar cellphone chargers is that they are very environment friendly, and there is no recurring cost associated with them. You don’t have to pay for electricity when using them, and they provide a very clean, renewable form of energy (i.e. solar power). Although it is just a tiny step, making it the primary energy source for your cell phone battery is a good way to do something for the environment.

Can a cellphone charger be used as a power supply?
Hello, I want to know if a cellphone charger can be used as a power supply for electronic circuits. I know that the internal circuit of a cellphone charger has a transformer, rectifier, and additional stages for changing AC to DC. I am now requiring a power supply to power up an electronic circuit. I can use a battery, yes, but it is not economical as it may soon exhaust itself. Can a cellphone charger be used? IThanks
Most likely yes. If you look at the “brick” at the charger plug, it should list a voltage and current rating – something like “5V 500mA”. In this case, the output voltage would be 5V and it is capable of sourcing up to 500mA. Most battery-operated devices use two AA batteries which have a nominal voltage of 3V. So you would need to create a system of stepping down your output voltage to the required input voltage of your new system (resistor voltage divider network is easiest, but not very efficient). Provided you stay within the current limitations of the charger, you should be fine. I created a similar setup to power a small battery-operated clock on my lab bench at work, so yes it can definitely be done – you just need to be careful of your design parameters.
