The television is an essential piece of equipment for every home. Over the past few decades televisions have become common electrical devices that we find in virtually every home. This is one of the reasons why people find it a great hassle if they have to regularly pay for maintenance of their TV sets. Many newer models produced by major manufacturers have the DLP (short for Digital Light Processing) technology which has its benefits but a particular component needs to be treated with care and replaced after some time. The DLP technology is found in many television sets today. Samsung, Panasonic, and Phillips take the lead in manufacturing televisions that use DLP technology. It is usually there in rear projection television sets. Basically, DLP TVs have a mercury arc lamp that acts as the source of light for the television. The DLP lamp promises better picture quality and this is why many customers choose DLP TVs. This type of technology is found in projectors in addition to normal televisions.
If you are buying a TV that has the digital light processing technology than this will benefit you in many ways as you will get a better image quality. It will make you enjoy watching TV more than before. The mercury lamp however needs to be replaced every now and then. There is no stipulated time for this, and It can stop working anywhere from 1 to 2 years after you buy the television set.
You will get an idea before the lamp stops functioning completely. The picture tends to lose brightness and quality when the lamp gets older and requires replacement. This will happen gradually so you will have plenty of time for buying a new one. A typical DLP lamp will cost between a 100 and 200 dollars. The DLP technology is pretty common nowadays so it is not very difficult to find a lamp. There are plenty of websites that advertise these kinds of lamps. Make sure you check up the different offers and a little research is all what is required for this.
The maintenance of a DLP TV is costly but it is worth the benefits and is not that difficult if you know where to look and replace the lamp on time.

The Best Kindle Covers For My Kindle 2
I took the plunge! I have pre-ordered mine new Kindle 2 two weeks ago. My new expected Kindle arrives on Tuesday February 24th (according to the shipping tracker). I am already convinced I want now to find the best cover for it. There are several places, also there is a fairly good discussion of the different kinds of covers available, but I am not sure about what’s the best.
Now is available a wide variety of Kindle 2 accessories, including new covers from Cole Haan, Patagonia, M-edge, GelaSkins, Vangoddy, Belkin and more.
For example: Cole Haan has many Hand-Woven Leather Covers for Kindle 2 that are indeed stylish, although they are rather pricey. This custom covers, made exclusively in India of hand-stained New Zealand leather.
I should say that they are not for those who would rather have something mass produced in China or for those who don’t care to stand out from the crowd or draw attention. They are absolutely beautiful! I figured many might start ordering it. There is a strong chance that you will be quite unique as it is are rather pricey. For those of you who don’t know, Cole Haan is amazing and is actually worth the price you would pay for their stuff. I have one of their purses and about 5 pairs of shoes. The purse is the softest thing I’ve ever touched and the shoes make my feet sing. Seriously, their leather is like butter.

I am planing on filming a video clip at the beach, how can I protect my camera?
I can’t aford a water/sand proof case or anything like that, I have heard plastic bags or sand free towels with an extra lense on the cover, but apart from these is there anything better or anything else I can do?
Just use a gallon size ziploc bag, or a grocery bag. Just hold the whole camera inside the bag with the lens poking out threw a hole you’ve cut in the bag… It should be fine.

A food processor is a great time saving multidimensional kitchen appliance that can perform many different slicing, chopping, shredding and grinding tasks. However, despite its varied functions, it is a fairly easy and straightforward appliance to use.
Before using and experimenting with the appliance, familiarize yourself with its basic parts and components. A processor basically consists of the following easily manageable, movable and removable parts:
- A heavy, stable housing unit or base that houses the processor’s motor. A food processor’s heavy base is designed to provide stability while the appliance is in operation. The base housing unit should remain steady and firm while the motor and spinning blades or discs are in play. The base also typically contains the appliance’s power cord and control buttons like on, off and pulse.
- A shaft that extends up from the base unit and motor and which powers the blades and discs that fit on the shaft.
- Various chopping and mixing blades and shredding and slicing discs that slide over the shaft.
- A work bowl that fits onto the housing base unit and around the shaft. The work bowl, and thus the food processor size, usually range from 2 to about 13 cups of processed food.
- A work bowl cover that fits on top of the work bowl and keeps the processed food within the food bowl.
- A feed tube and pusher rod or assembly through which the food is introduced into the unit’s bowl, blades and discs.
- Optional attachments which can include whisks or beaters.
Where can I find an extra large door knob safety cover?
I have oval door knobs throughout my house and well my daughter just started reaching for the front door knob. I bought a couple different kinds at Target and they were all too small.
