Eliminate Dry Skin Forever
When you watch the TV you are bombarded with products for dry skin for your feet; your hands; your whole body.
First things first, everyone has and gets dry skin even those beautiful super models we all see in those air brushed magazines. With that said the best and only way to stop dry skin on any part of your body is to moisturize.
Here’s my question – Why don’t the majority of people do that?
I have never understood this. I’m of Black origin and I have always moisturised my skin without a second thought. Black people have extra dry skin depending on which part of the world they live, I live in the UK and the British climate isn’t very helpful. If Black people didn’t moisturise the effect of dryness on our skin would and is not a pretty sight to see. Anyway like I said I have always moisturised, it’s not a routine we were tort, we just do it. As babies our parents moisturised our skin and as we grew up we continued to do the same ourselves.
In other cultures especially the European culture, it seems doesn’t have this routine built in. Yet the adverts push the dry skin issue 24 7, many decide not to do the moisturising thing until the effects of dry skin becomes very serve. I see a lot of images concerning dry, hard skin on the feet importantly on the heels. If you wear sling back shoes regularly, this makes the problem even worst for your heels are exposed to the atmosphere more while pressing against the hardness of the shoe’s sole. To combat this you need moisturise.
I hear you say “I know this, you are not telling me anything new”. If you know already why do many people wait until the skin becomes hard, very dry, cracked and even in some cases very painful? When the skin gets to this point, that’s when people start to look for products to combat the problem. You buy these products; use them and when the problem goes away, you STOP using it. Of course when you do this your skin stays fine for a while, then the problem reoccurs and you buy the product again, this then becomes a continues cycle.
Here’s my advice:
Find a moisturiser which you like and is compatible with your skin. There are many around for oily, dry or combination skin. Find one that is for dry or a combination skin all you have to do is only use a small amount on your face if you have oily areas. Buy one to use all over your body, this will save you money in the long run. A good product is Vaseline Care. It does the job and it’s not expensive, it absorbs nicely into the skin which is what you need.
Make moisturising yourself become part of your daily routine, like brushing your teeth or putting on your clothes is. If you continue to do this to your whole body everyday, you will be amazed at the results. Your skin will become smoother and softer. All those special products which the media want you to buy will not interest you because you won’t need them.
Moisturising everyday is good for your skin in the long term. Trust me, if you look at black people’s skin it always seem to glow, plus we look youthful, even the older generation look younger than their age and this is simply down to them moisturising their skin all their lives.
Let’s recap: Buy a moisturiser that you like (look at the Vaseline care range).
Every morning after you have a wash, clean your teeth, moisturise your whole body. Pay special attention to your feet, knees, elbows and hands.
That’s it – It’s that simple, 2 steps and you will be dry skin free.
Here are 2 tips I do:
When doing the washing up, wear rubber gloves to protect your hands. If like me you just wash up with your bear hands, moisturise your hands after you have finished. I actually keep some cream in the kitchen just for this purpose.
Pamper yourself tip. Do it about once every 2 weeks. When it’s time for bed, get a pair of socks and a pair of cotton gloves. I don’t have gloves so I use another pair of socks.
Here’s what you do: Get a generous amount of cream the best for this is the pure Vaseline (which is sold in jars) however using your regular cream will work just as well. With the generous amount of moisturiser in your hands cover your feet with it, don’t rub it in just coat your feet. Then put on your socks. Do the same with your hands, and then put on your gloves or socks. It can get a bit fiddly but it won’t last for long, once you get the hand of it. Then go to bed.
In the morning your feet and hands will be silky, silky smooth. What happens is the cream is absorbed slowly through the night into your skin. Still continue to moisturise as normal it’s just that your skin will be more super softer. You won’t get a salon treatment that can top these results. Try it and see.
To never have dry skin again – moisturise everyday, moisturise for life.

Ive heard of laptop skins, but they only cover the back of the screen, im looking for something like the protective rubber skins for cell phones that wrap around the phone except for the screen, keyboard, and ports….. do they make these for laptops? ive heard of something like this for macs, but can i get one for an acer aspire one netbook?
No, because then venting is a problem.

Crystal Hard Case
Cubic zirconia(CZ) was discovered in 1892, and is the cubic crystalline form of zirconium dioxide (ZrO2). This material, when synthesized, is hard, optically flawless, and colorless, but it can be given a wide array of colors. It is inexpensive, durable, looks like a diamond, and just as diamonds, it is crystallographically isometric, reasons why it has become the biggest competitor of this precious stone since the late 1970′s.
Since some years ago manufacturers have tried to improve CZ to make it more appealing for jewelry and other accessories designers and sellers.
One of the ways of “enhancing” CZ is by coating it with a film of diamond-like carbon (DLC) or amorphous diamond. This treatment makes the cubic zirconia harder, shinier, and more ‘diamond like’. Supposedly, it quenches the excess fire of the cubic zirconia and at the same time improves its refractive index, making it more similar to a diamond.
Another way of improving CZ is through a technique used also for quartz and topaz. It consists of vacuum-sputtering a very thin layer of metal oxide (gold) onto the finished CZ to give it an iridescent effect. It gives the stone a kind of mystic feeling; however, it is not permanent. Abrasion will eventually remove this layer.
In any case, there are several characteristics of CZ that differentiate it from diamonds. Some of these can only be seen with a microscope or magnifying glass:
o Dispersion: Cubic zirconia’s prismatic fire has a dispersive power greater than the one of diamonds, 0.060 vs. 0.044, and is easily visible.
o Hardness: CZ has a rating of eight on the Mohs hardness scale, while diamonds possess a rating of ten.
o Specific gravity: When compared to diamonds, cubic zirconia is much heavier. One cubic zirconia stone weighs more or less 1.7 times more than a diamond of the same size.
o Flaws: Nowadays, the production of cubic zirconia is flawless, while diamonds, almost always, have some type of defect, like a feather, a bit of crystal, or residues of original crystal face.
o Refractive index: Cubic zirconia’s refractive index is 2.176, while diamonds’ is 2.417.
o Cut: There are cubic zirconias that use different surface shapes that are normally used for diamonds. This is a difference that can only be seen with a magnifying glass.
o Lack of color: CZ can be made completely colorless and comparable to a perfect “D” on the diamond’s color grading scale, while only very rare diamonds are totally colorless. The majority has a little yellow or brown in them.
o Thermal conductivity: CZ is a thermal insulator; a diamond is one of the best thermal conductors.

Wearing and Looking After your Rubber Clothing
1. Lubrication
In order to get into rubber, you’ll need to lubricate it in some way. You have to do this because the natural state of rubber is quite sticky, and will stick to your skin. You can lubricate it in a variety of ways including:
* Talc
This is by far the most common way of getting into rubber. It’s dry, and stops the surface getting sticky and makes it a lot easier to slide into that catsuit or whatever it is you’re trying to get into, however, it does have its drawbacks; it can irritate your lungs if you inhale it; steer clear of perfumed talc as it may damage the rubber; when worn for a while sweat mixes with the talc and causes ‘the dreaded white stuff’ a mix of sweat and talc not unlike mixing flour and water!
* Water Based Lube
This is a fairly expensive option, but this does make it very very slippery, excellent for getting your rubber on but you’ll use up a lot of it on anything large such as a catsuit, this does have some drawbacks; it’s very slippery and if you get it into the feet of a catsuit or leggings, it can make walking about more like ice-skating; it does dry, and may cause the garment to chafe.
* Silicone based lube
This is also a fairly expensive option, and is usually the one that rubber fetish picture sites opt for with their models as it also makes the rubber very shiny, and is very slippy, it stays slippery for a long time too, which can make it quite dangerous if it gets into the feet of a garment or worse if it gets into a wooden floor!
Overall I’d recommend the use of talc to get into your rubber garments
2. Shining
In order to make your rubber look really good you might want to shine it up, there’s a few options when it comes to shine:
* Water based lotion
This is fairly hard to come by, but is probably the best compromise as it produces a very silky surface, but not as shiny as others. Look for a rubber shine specific water based lotion. Cocoon markets a very good version. It’s applied to the garment with a cloth and gives a very friction free and fairly dry feel.
* Silicone based spray
We do not recommend the use of silicone spray on rubber, it causes the surface to become sticky and can be quite dangerous if it gets onto any hard surfaces around. This is used a lot by photographers of rubber though as it makes the best shine.
* Silicone based lube
This is basicly the same as the way to get into it, but you apply it to the outside of the garment using a sponge or cloth, it gives a very shiny surface, and a lot of photographers use this method too.
3. Wearing it
First rule of wearing rubber is to enjoy it! It’s a very sensual feeling, and can be very erotic. You do have to watch out for a couple of things though:
* Watch out for sharp objects!
You dont want to catch your rubber on anything sharp and get a blowout!
* Mind out of anything a bit hot!
Particularly cigarettes and open flames, rubber is very flammable, so be very careful
* Copper
Copper can discolour light coloured rubber, in particular copper coins can mark a garment very quickly if they come into contact with it. It wont harm the rubber, but it’ll discolour it.
* Oils
Mineral, Animal and Vegetable oils can degrade rubber very quickly causing it to fail and turn into a black oily goo, not good if you want to wear anything again, so keep your rubber away from oils! (Silicone oil should be ok, but in particular keep it away from petroleum based oils.
4. Getting out of it again
The easiest way to get out of a garment is usually under a shower, not only will the water lubricate the rubber a bit, it’ll help clean any oils off it. If your rubber needs a good clean use any good detergent as long as it hasn’t got any harmful oils in it, and stay away from soap.
5. Storing rubber garments
Ideally you should clean and talc your garments before storage. You should store your rubber away from sunlight (it degrades rubber) and if you decide to hang it up, use a wooden hanger. If you want to pack your rubber away for a while, get hold of some zip lock bags, place your rubber inside (one per bag), add some talc, and give it a shake, it’ll powder the whole garment pretty quickly, and make sure it doesn’t stick when you get it out!

I just bought a bottle of the skintimate skin therapy moisturizing shave gel and was looking at the bottom of the bottle and notice a black rubber like stopper that if pushed, releases air? I have never seen this before. Could somebody please tell me what this is for…thanks!

Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle : a First Impression Review
Well, I’ve finally decided to get it. A few days ago, I finally made the difficult decision of purchasing the Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle. Alright I admit it, it’s not really that difficult because I got it at a real bargain. When I received the package in the mail, I couldn’t contain my excitement. After all, the Nintendo Wii Fit is the latest innovative games and workout machine out in the market today!
What’s In The Nintendo Wii Fit Bundle?
As I unpack my Nintendo Wii Fit bundle package anxiously, I notice that there are quite a number of items included. There’s the Nintendo Wii game console, the Wii Fit Balance Board and a peripheral of accessories such as the console stand, remote for the games console, nunchuck, AV adapter & cables. Included with the balance board is a disc of software which contains activities or exercises such as the yoga, body balance, muscle building and aerobic exercises and routines.
My Wii game console also came with 5 Wii Sports games for Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing. Now, you’ll need the Wii game console before you can make use of Wii Fit system. When I was first planning my purchase, I noticed that there were many packages selling at rock bottom prices all over the web. But beware, most of them don’t include the Wii game console! You may end up paying more if you buy them separately. If you don’t have the Wii game console, the more economic choice will be the Wii Fit bundle as retailers tend to package them at a more attractive price.
My Workout Experience On the Nintendo Wii Fit
After I setup the Wii Fit system, I started working out on it with a heart rate monitor strapped on my wrist. It took a while for me to get used to the menu navigation though frankly, they’re pretty user friendly. It may take some time off the workout time but I’m sure that can be minimized once I get more familiar with the system.
What I’ve noticed was, some of the activities didn’t gave me as good a workout as I expected. The soccer heading game was a disappointment and didn’t even raise my heart rate above the minimum. And when I compared my statistics across activities such as the Yoga, Strength Training, Aerobic and Balance, the aerobic section stood out.
My favourite by far was the Hula Hoop game. As I tried to balance myself, keeping all the hoops in the air while catching some more, my heart beat was raised to 172bpm. Not only was it a good workout, it was pretty fun and enjoyable.
Perhaps you may be asking “So, do you think the Nintendo Wii Fit is a good way to lose weight?”. Personally I don’t think the Wii Fit can really help to lose much weight given the nature of the activities involved. Maybe a pound or two a week. But I’m sure they’ll be quite effective in another department of your life.

Zebra Hard
Zoo Paradise is a very unique theme park game that is produce by Crowdstar and the game can get a bit challenging for a first timer. After days of playing through the game, I actually find it rather interesting and actually spend time playing it.
1. During the beginning of the game, get at least 2 animals in your habitat. Each Animal will allow you to collect money after every few hours depending on how many visitors they are able to attract.
2. I would advice putting two zebras into the first habitat you have. Their return is rather rewarding for starter animal as you will earn back 49 credits per-zebra.
3. Keep your guest happy, build toilets and a few food stall. This is rather hard during the beginning, but building the most basic works for now. You can then decide to upgrade them once you have enough cash.
4. Join the Fan Page for Zoo Paradise. Reason here is that you will get an additional 500 credit boost during the start of the game. This really helps a lot to allow you to built your second habitat and upgrading it to inhabit by at least 2 animals.
5. Once you have enough cash, I would advice to get a pair of coyote. They cost a bit to get them, but the returns is worth the cost as your earn back 92 credits per-coyote.
6. Get more friends to join you in the game. The more friends you have the more money you can collect in 1 day. Make sure you visit your friends every few hours as they might have credits lying all over the park. Furthermore this allows you to expend the ground in the park. Playing alone is rather challenging for anyone in this game.
7. Having more friends also help you save some money at times! If they found a capture animal, they will post it in their wall for adoptions. This is free animals and some of the animals like elephants are lock till you reach a very level in the game, but you can get them during the start of the game. So keep an open eye out for them.
8. Sending out free gift to your friends! Do not be shy or selfish; send them a gift once per day and your friends will do the same. If you do not need it, you can just sell it off to get more cash.
9. Upgrade your facility. Yes, you may think of upgrading your animal habitat first, but facilities like food stall and signboards actually bring in some revenues. Facility is easier to upgrade compare to habitat as it is a lot cheaper and they still generate revenue during the upgrading time.
10. Look out for puzzle game once a day! This help generate a bit of cash, not as much from the habitats and your animals, but still enough to allow you to perform a few upgrades for your facility during the beginning of the game.
11. Be very patient with this game. It is slow and may get very dull during the beginning, but once you spend a few days into it, the game will get more exiting from there. So just hang on!

For a reasonable price please, I really want one.
In the cell phone case kiosks at the mall. Thats where I got my iTouch case, and they have tons of zebra print ones for around $15. Or also at online dealsites, or online stores.
