The battery is made up of Lithium Ion carrying a capacity of 3500mAh. It can be charged either by sunlight or through the computer via USB, AC charger or car charger. There is a LED indicator to show when the charging is over. The battery takes about 2.5 hours to get fully charged.

Should I start my stored car in the winter?
I put my car away for the winter. I have the tires off and its on Jacks. I didnt take the battery out but I have a trickle charger plugged on it. I live in Canada so its cold up here but my car is in the garage so its covered. My question is should I start it every two weeks or so and let it get up to operating temperature or just leave it shut off till spring?
I have heard arguments for both so I thought Id try yahoo answers…
It’s a very good idea to lift the frames weight off the suspension, springs, torsion bars and tires if it’s to be stored for an extended period of time on all four corners with jack stands.
It’s a better idea to completely remove the tires and wheels as you have and store them in an above freezing dry place. If your car is well insured with comprehensive coverage against fire, floods, theft and trees dropping on the storage area the wheels off deal would be good. If your home -owners and car insurance is shaky I’d leave the tires on for a fast getaway.
A one amp self leveling trickle charger is just the ticket to keep the battery from being discharged and freezing spliting it wide open.
If it’s not inconvenient, fire the car up every 3-4 weeks and let it run for up to 15 minutes so that it gets good and hot so the motor oil drives off condensation and oil dilution. You’d be also re-coating the internal engine parts with hopefully fresh clean motor oil.
Your climate and vehicle begs for full synthetic motor oil. It pours at much lower temperatures than does regular oil. During cold starts is where 80% of all engine wear occors. Synthetic oil pumps with greater volume to critical frictional surfaces faster. It’s to your advantage to stick to the factory recommended oil viscosity for your car. Lower viscosity oil actually cools all internal engine parts faster than higher viscosity oil. Get this: Your oil pump turns with less waisted twisting force when you use light wight oil freeing up otherwise lost horsepower.
