touch iPod 8GB – Not Expected From Apple
I bought touch iPod 8GB as an upgrade to my Nano. I was very happy with the usability and response to touch. But, got very disappointed to find that headphone supplied does not have a microphone while trying to use Skype. This is not expected from Apple to package substandard headphone without any notification or choice while ordering.

This is really a question more than a review.. I would greatly appreciate the feedback if anybody can help!
Ok. I was looking on the iPod website and it shows a picture with what looks like a gps on there. I’m wondering if you have to download maps to it or does it just automatically show where you are when you pull the app up.I saw another review on here and it said a con of the new iPod is that it doesn’t have gps.. If anybody can clear this up for me please let me know because I’m very interested in buying one.

touch iPod 8GB – I Love This iPod
There is no doubt that Apple rewrote the book on “MP3″ players (that term is so inaccurate – but unfortunately it’s stuck here at Amazon) – this touch iPod 8GB is not just the best of their iPod line, but also, it’s a computer. A computer that allows for flawless web surfing, emailing, and with 100,000 apps available at iTunes as of this week, it’s a device that gets “new” and “renewed” with every game, utility, etc., that you add.
Almost everyone I know who owns either this device or the iPhone says the same thing – that they are as happy with the product today as they were the day they bought it. I feel the same way, and I can’t think of anything I’ve ever owned that feels “new” more than a year after purchase. The audio quality is spectacular, the video screen is crispy clear for watching the practically limitless selection of movies, music videos and TV eps from iTunes, and the computer itself has virtually eliminated my need (due to my job) to carry a laptop around wherever I go. I held out on this when it first came out and I wish I hadn’t.
It’s one of those rare purchases that I can say has made parts of my life easier. To think I used to carry around multiple devices, all of which were made irrelevant by this computer. I recommend touch iPod 8GB, my friends would recommend it, and that includes my friends, here in Seattle, who work for Microsoft. And, for that matter, CNET recommends it… “In news that shouldn’t come as a shock to anyone who’s perused our Holiday Gift guide, sampled our list of top MP3 players, or remembers what happened to last year’s iPod Touch, the third-generation touch iPod 8GB and another model now proudly bears the CNET Editors’ Choice badge.”

How do i get the ipod touch remote app to work?
I’ve tried everything and nothing works!!!! I installed the app on my ipod and when i get to itunes its not listed under my ipod. I’ve changed my firewall to off and i’ve changed the preferences to look for devices. My ipod software version is 3.1.3 and im using a toshiba laptop- (if that helps) Is there any other ways to get my ipod touch remote app to work?
You need to have wifi?
