One of the most fascinating and useful features of the Apple iPhone is making the net available to you at the best speed possible. The web on the iPhone almost has the efficiency of your home PC. Its wireless connection enables you to connect to it from any place using the same network as a normal cell phone. Today, iPhones usually account for .09% of the total web browsing.
To begin, you need to first click on the ‘Safari’ key on the home or main page. It is more or less like a compass giving you immediate access to your home page.
Next you need to activate the web address field which is on the left end of the title bar, put in the web address and tap the go option. In case the address field is not available or visible you need to tap the status bar which is at the topmost of your screen so as to scroll to the address field quickly at the top of the web page.
Next delete or erase any text in the address field using the ‘X’ key which is present near the address field itself. This key also functions as the ‘stop’ button in case you want to discontinue opening a web page.
When you start typing a web address a number of pages are listed having the same letters. Touch the one you want so as to proceed with the application.
You can rotate your iPhone to get a better view of the page. A landscape orientation is usually achieved by turning the website on the ends. The phone usually adjusts the length, breadth and height and magnification of the website with respect to the orientation of the phone.
Any small image or text can be increased in magnification for easy readability. Double tapping usually helps to maximize. You can zoom out by double tapping again to its original size.
You can navigate across many web pages at the same time. Click on the page number at the bottom right end of the web page to open all sites. Just drag the pages to maximize them and bring them to fit screen size.
While making an internet connection available to you, the iPhone:
- tries to first connect to the last used Wi-Fi network. This again depends on which one is available at a particular point in time and the place.
- If the previously used ones are not available, it will show you the list of Wi-fi networks in the range of connectivity. You can either click on the network or put your password to log in.
- In case there is no Wi-Fi network available or you do not wish to join the available one, the iPhone tends to connect over network for cellular data.
What do i bring to India for summer?
ok so im going to India nxt month n im soo confused n nervous!! idk what to bring! i havent been there in 5 years…. i was 9…so i dont really remember a lot…i just know that its really really really hot. my uncle told me that it was like 110 degrees! i cant stand anything more than 85! lol ok .. now that im done freaking out…what should i bring? should i bring my cel phone?…cuz there r a lot of poor people there that might wanna steal it… if so which one? i have the Sony xperia and the iphone 3gs.. what kind of clothes do i bring? cuz i dont wanna wear booty shorts n have pple stare at me…cuz pple in india r kind of modest..i guess…. how do i prepare…cuz im not used to India’s climate, environment, or a lot of its culture
