How to make a jack in the box as the cartoons of Mickey Mouse?

I want to make a Jack in the Box that people beaten in the face. the clown is replaced by a boxing glove full of styrofoam. How do I build it? I give viceprincipal freshman at my school as a gag. I am referring to the cartoons of Mickey Mouse.

Another option is to simply buy any old Jack-in-the-box of a toy store or garage sale and just replace the "clown" covering the spring with a new boxing glove (rip the seam on the clown and sew or hot glue the glove in spring).
